After falling in love with the manuscript, Lisa Hurwitz brought Pearl Twist, Lion, and Crow alive for Kim Soles' debut novel, Pearl Twist's Magical Life.
Lisa graduated from the Pa Academy of the Fine Arts, where she studied classical sculpture and painting. An illustrator/artist, her work developed into her own magical, whimsical style. She is inspired by life's chaos, craziness, beauty, and sadness and attempts to weave this into her work.
You can find Lisa's imagery in paintings, prints, stationary, and ceramics sold in shops throughout the country. Pearl Twist's Magical Life of Lost is Lisa's first novel-illustration project.
The mama of three spirited boys, Lisa is a lover of all things furry, feathered, finned, and even scaly.
Coffee. Lisa LOVES coffee immensely. While she is drawing or painting or working on her new ceramic line, coffee is always in hand…or very close by.
